35mm and medium format film are a very familiar format for me, as I know the limitations and what to expect. Recently I took a trip up the California Coast tried my hand with a Graflex 4x5. I expected the camera to function similar to what I have already been shooting. Cameras are simple tools, with only 3 functions to juggle. ISO, shutter speed, and the f-stop.
